The Thai Ridgeback originates from Thailand and is a hunting and companion dog who is tough, active, loyal, and fearless.

A member of the Foundation Stock Service, this intelligent dog is 20 to 24 inches at the shoulders making it a rather large dog with an average litter size of 5 and life span of 10 to 13 years.

This breed of dog requires little grooming due to their thin coats and have little shedding.

They have a strong prey drive and should not be left alone with small pets such as cats and they are generally good with children of their family.

This very athletic and active dog requires moderate amounts of exercise.
