The Pyrenean Shepherd originates from France and is a very intelligent and energetic breed devoted to his master.

A member of the Foundation Stock Service, this small/medium dog has a height of 14 to 19 inches and an average litter size of about 4 and a life span of about 9 to 12 years.

It has a medium shedding and a thick, dense coat which needs just weekly brushing.

It will get along peacefully with other dogs and household animals. They are great with children and require a lot of exercise as they were bred to run all day long.
