June 22 - Results of a new US poll find that up to 72% of Americans are in favor of Barack Obama's public health care plan.

Despite being favored by the majority of Americans, Obama's public health care plan is facing quite a stiff opposition on Capital Hill.

Obama's plan insures health care for all, featuring a government sponsored health care program with various options for Americans to choose from.

One way Obama may end up fitting the bill for his public health care plan is by raising taxes.

More Dog and Cat Owners Diagnosed With MRSA Infections

According to researchers of a new study, more pet owners are being diagnosed with MRSA infections after being bitten by their pets
June 21 - According to researchers of a new study, more pet owners are being diagnosed with MRSA infections after being bitten by their pets.

The researchers state that when a dog or a cat bites a person, MRSA on that person's skin enters into the bloodstream, thus causing a major health issue.

The risk of a pet owner acquiring an MRSA infection goes up if their pet bites them and breaks the skin, allowing the bacteria to enter into the bloodstream.

What adds to the risk of infection, is saliva from the animal entering into the body of the person they have bitten.

Funnily enough, cat bites tend to be more deeper than dog bites, making cat owners more susceptible to developing an MRSA infection following a bite.

Researchers state that young boys are at most risk of a dog bite, and because of their height are often bitten on the face or neck.
